Your donations to the Lost, But Found Thrift Store directly support our mission to extend Christ's love and compassion to those in need, providing essential resources and funding our outreach efforts to bring people into Christ's family. With your generosity, we can continue to serve our community and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Donation Procedures and Locations

Donations are accepted at the store during regular business hours, up until 30 minutes prior to closing:

Monday-Friday 10 am to 4:30pm and Saturday 10 am to 2:30pm

as well as the following drop off sites:

*Rock Rapids: Please bring items directly to the Lost, But Fount Thrift Store if you have a delivery in Rock Rapids. This is located at 112 First Avenue. You may pull into the alley next to the store. Step inside the unlocked alley door and someone would be happy to assist you!

*George: Located on Main Street. Across from the Total Stop grocery store. 

*Little Rock: Across from the grocery store on Main Street

All items that are dropped off at any of our sites are/become the property of ATLAS of Lyon County. Please be sure of the donation before leaving it. REMOVING ITEMS FROM THE DROPBOX OR THE STORE COULD RESULT IN A LEGAL PENALTY.

For the donation of larger items, please coordinate a drop off time by calling the ATLAS of Lyon County office at 712-472-9016. We are happy to accept your donation of gently used items that are in working-condition.

"Coveted Items" (These are the most sought-after items in the Lost, But Found Thrift Store)

• Trendy Clothing (Clothing aimed at teens)
• Designer handbags, shoes, and accessories
• Children's Toys, Games, or Clothing
• Sporting Goods & Outdoor Equipment (Camping gear)
• Kitchenware & Appliances that are clean and in good working condition.

Please help the ministry from accruing unnecessary dumping costs by refraining from donating things that are outdated, broken, soiled, or in any state of disrepair. 

All donations are tax deductible. Please feel free to request a donation form from the ministry team at Lost, But Found when you drop off your donation, ATLAS of Lyon County (712) 472-9016, or via email officemanger@atlasoflyoncounty.org. Proceeds from the sale of items go to continue the ministry of ATLAS of Lyon County 112 1st Avenue Rock Rapids.
